Royal Caribbean for Iranian Travelers Abroad
Royal Caribbean's Icon and Oasis class ships for Iranians holding a second passport, green card or US visa — where they sail, the visa reality, and a live availability search.
Royal Caribbean operates the largest cruise ships in the world. The Icon class — led by Icon of the Seas (2024) — carries roughly 5,610 guests across 365.9 metres, with eight neighbourhoods, a 55-foot waterfall and the largest waterpark at sea. The Oasis class follows close behind, featuring Central Park with 33,000 plants, the Boardwalk and the AquaDome. The fleet of over 30 ships visits 240-plus destinations, and for Iranians living abroad it is one of the most exciting ways to see the Caribbean, Alaska and the Mediterranean. This guide is for travellers who hold a second passport, a US green card, or a valid US or Schengen visa — because Royal Caribbean's most popular departures are simply not reachable on an Iranian passport alone.
Where Royal Caribbean sails
Royal Caribbean's core routes are the Caribbean and Alaska, sailing from US ports in Florida, Texas and Seattle. It also operates Mediterranean and European cruises from Civitavecchia (Rome), Barcelona and Southampton, plus transatlantic and Pacific itineraries. The visa requirement follows the departure region, not the line itself.
The second-passport and US-visa reality
Any Royal Caribbean sailing that departs from or calls at a US portrequires entering the United States — so an Iranian passport alone is not enough. You need a valid US visa, or a second passport / green card that lets you enter the US. Mediterranean and Northern Europe departures require a Schengen visa unless your second passport exempts you. Only Gulf, Turkey and Red Sea routes (operated by other lines) stay easy-visa on a single Iranian passport. If you hold the right documents, the whole Royal Caribbean fleet opens up; if you do not, our MSC, Celestyal and AROYA guides are the honest alternatives.
How booking works
CruiseBaz does not hold a static feed for these lines. When you are ready, we search live availability through our cruise partner for the ship, route and dates you want, then confirm every detail by inquiry with our team on WhatsApp or Telegram. You receive a transparent quote showing the cabin category, port taxes and any optional flights — never an invented rate, only real, current fares from the live system.
Prefer to talk first? Message the CruiseBaz team on WhatsApp or Telegram and we will check the ships and dates that fit your passport.
